Sinan Kanatsiz, Chairman and CEO of K-COMM, was recently selected as the youngest recipient of the highly coveted Hall of Fame Award, bestowed by the Trustees of Santa Ana College. The Hall of Fame Award is the highest honor given by the college and is a distinguished milestone for the 30 year old entrepreneur. "This award represents an individual's character achievements in addition to their business accomplishments, we're elated to have Sinan join our honorary list," says Sara Lundquist, Ph.D., vice president of student services, Santa Ana College. Kanatsiz was formally inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame on Friday, May 20, where he spoke at the commencement and was honored at a dinner reception. For the past 50 years, the Alumni Achievement Awards program has honored over 100 outstanding alumni, honoring their most outstanding graduates and former students. The criteria for nomination to the Hall of Fame at Santa Ana College include:
Graduation from SAC
A minimum of ten years in the work force since completing the required units of course work
Documented distinction and achievement through personal and/or professional efforts since leaving our college, Congratulations Sinan!
