Before joining KCOMM, Widor was with M4 Strategies in Costa Mesa, where he managed media and public affairs campaigns for statewide initiatives, healthcare legislation, multi-million dollar water projects, mortgage firms and professional sports. Ranging from California to Nevada to Tennessee, such clients included Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and the Los Angeles Galaxy professional soccer team.
Widor also worked with O’Reilly Public Relations (formerly Stoorza Communications, California’s largest independent public relations firm) in Riverside, CA, servicing various clients in the arenas of local government, transportation, commercial real estate, education, water and energy. He served as a day-to-day media contact for an international corporation on its national media campaign, helping secure news coverage with The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Associated Press, The Sacramento Bee, Governing, Washington Technology and Government Computer News.
A resident of Newport Beach, Widor received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University, San Bernardino.

Political Veteran Joins Leading Southern California-based firm As New Vice President
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — (September 1, 2004)—Kanatsiz Communications, Inc. (KCOMM), a global leader in Internet marketing and public relations, announced political veteran Jeff Montejano as its new strategic partner and vice president of public affairs.
Montejano has been actively involved with business, public policy and political affairs throughout California, serving as an advisor to CEOs, attorneys and various elected officials on federal, state and local levels
With a decade of experience in public relations and public affairs, an extensive background in politics, and years of service on both the government and agency sides, Montejano brings invaluable expertise and perspective to KCOMM’s public relations strategies and operations. Background
Before joining KCOMM, Montejano was vice president at M4 Strategies in Costa Mesa, performing a variety of public relations and public affairs activities for such clients as The New Majority Political Action Committee, Hospital Corporation of America, and the California Chamber of Commerce.
Montejano also served as director of government relations for one of California’s largest independent public relations firms, Stoorza Communications, where he successfully developed and managed numerous multi-million dollar programs in the areas of government, media and crisis communications.
He also worked on some of California’s largest and most difficult public projects, including Orange and Riverside Counties’ 91 toll road public acquisition. In addition he worked with prominent builders and environmental groups on Riverside County’s transportation and multispecies habitat plan, one of the largest land use projects in the United States. Other clients included Pardee Homes, Shea Homes, Lockheed Martin, Riverside County Transportation Commission, the Nature Conservancy and the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.
Montejano served four years in the California State Legislature in multiple capacities, including chief of staff and deputy chief of staff to the Assembly Republican Leader. He has also worked on several federal and state political campaigns, including serving on George W. Bush’s 2000 presidential California campaign team.
